The day we had all been waiting for finally arrived! On Sunday, October 22nd, 2023, Arbeiter Brewing Co. and Half Pint Co. came together to host the "Boo 'n' Brew Bash." It was a day filled with laughter, creativity, and an overwhelming sense of community as hundreds of kids and their grownups gathered for a spooktacular time. The event mostly went off without a hitch, except we ran out of about 150 mini pumpkins - a testament to just how popular this event was!

The excitement was palpable. Children and adults alike streamed in, each more creative and spooktacularly dressed than the last. The costumes were a sight to behold, with a kaleidoscope of characters, ghouls, and superheroes lighting up the space.

The "Boo 'n' Brew Bash" lived up to its name with a brew-tiful day of family-friendly Halloween fun. We couldn’t have asked for better weather! Here are some of the event's highlights that made it such a memorable occasion:

1. Goodie Bags and Pumpkin Decorating: The first 100 kids were treated to goodie bags filled with sweet surprises, and they had a blast decorating mini pumpkins. These little gourds became the canvas for their imaginations as the children crafted spooky and silly pumpkin faces.

2. Ghostly Art and Sugar Skull Coloring: Our young artists had a wonderful time creating their own little ghost paintings and adding vibrant colors to sugar skull coloring sheets, bringing the essence of Dia de los Muertos to life.

3. Fall Mini-Sessions and DIY Fall Photos: Families took advantage of the picturesque fall setting created for the event. Thanks to our talented photographer, Ashley, for offering free Fall mini-sessions! The DIY fall photo opportunities were also a hit, with everyone capturing their most beautiful moments of the day.

4. Bouncy Castle: The weather held up, and the bouncy castle provided endless entertainment. Children bounced and giggled, and there was no shortage of smiling faces.

5. Cinnamon Roll Delight: Laune Bread's crave-worthy cinnamon rolls, marvelous macaroons, and ridiculously good rye chocolate chip cookies were a huge hit, satisfying everyone's sweet tooth!

6. Self-Serve Cider Station: The self-serve cider station was a refreshing oasis for guests, offering a flavor that perfectly complemented the autumn atmosphere.

The "Boo 'n' Brew Bash" was more than just an event; it was a heartwarming community gathering. Families, friends, and neighbors came together to celebrate the Halloween season in a safe and inviting environment. It was an opportunity for children to express their creativity, for families to bond, and for everyone to share in the season's joys.

We were thrilled to see so many familiar faces and new friends joining us for this unforgettable day of fun. While it's true that we ran out of mini pumpkins due to the overwhelming turnout, we're taking it as a sign of just how much our community loved this event. We promise to have an even bigger supply next year, so hopefully, no one has to miss out on pumpkin decorating fun!

Thank you to everyone who made the "Boo 'n' Brew Bash" a spooktacular success. Your smiles, laughter, and the incredible memories we created together are what made this event so special. We can't wait to see you again next year for even more spooky fun!
